Eat Real AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Eat Real AI mobile application (the "App").

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your email address and password when you create an account, or your Apple ID if you choose to sign in with Apple.
• Meal photos: Photos you take within the App, upload from your device, or import from your Instagram account for nutritional analysis.
• Usage data: Anonymous usage statistics such as app interactions and feature usage to help us improve the App.

We do not collect personal information beyond what is listed above. We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To analyze meal photos and provide nutritional information
• To improve our AI models and the accuracy of nutritional analysis
• To maintain and improve the App's functionality
• To communicate with you about your account or the App

4. Sign in with Apple

If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive only the information that Apple provides based on your preferences. You may choose to share or hide your email address. We do not receive your Apple ID password.

5. Instagram Integration

If you choose to import photos from Instagram, we access only the photos you explicitly select. We do not access your Instagram messages, followers, profile information, or any other Instagram data. You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from the App settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you for research or analytical purposes. We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information and meal photos for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App or by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
